I realize today that the rhetorical triangle applies to any and everything in life . It was kind of confusing me at first , especially pathos and ethos but I understand a little more now . every poster in this school has a place in the rhetorical triangle . we use it everyday . I didn’t learn as much about it but I knew what it was , im now fully understanding the concept of the triangle .

 

I realize now why having someone review your work is essential .  another set of eyes can catch grammatical errors, typos, and other mistakes within your essay . its also gives an opportunity to see your essay from another perspective so that you can make necessary changes .if not proof read there could be misunderstanding from the readers . i usually just skim through my work and turn it in as is but now i can use this method in everyday life .

I think everyone in the film that’s wearing a mask lacks self identity . I see that the girl is at first afraid to be herself when she feel and the mask broke . later in the film she discovered her true identity rather than being a pawn in society . It shows that everyone was scared to be there and who they really are so they became who society wanted them to be . I think the theme of this short film is to not let society determine who you are , be true to yourself . 

 Today I learned how to properly build a body paragraph using the brain storming method we used in class yesterday. . I struggled a lot when writing essays because I usually would get straight to it and would not know what to talk about . it helped to see my ideas on paper and to just plan out what I’m writing about . I think I need a little more help on the evidences but so far I got everything down pact . to be honest I now feel that if I was given a prompt today I would  feel comfortable writing an good detailed essay .

 

 Through out my high school years I never really learned the proper way to build an essay . Today I learned the most important part : brain storming . it helps a lot to write down my ideas and details following , i used to just skip that part and get to writing which is probably why it was so hard for me to come up with a good essay . now I can use this skill for any writing prompt given to me and it be 2x times easier with all my thoughts organized . i look forward to learning the next steps into writing a good essay . 

I feel like the main purposes of life is to appreciate what you have while you have it . To experience life to the fullest . learn what you can while you can to be able to pass it on to your kids and their kids . Have fun and make memories. Living things are put on this earth to someday die so enjoy it .

 The best advice that my mother/guardian gave me was to not call everybody your friend and to keep certain people at arm’s length. My friends from middle school tried to set me up to take the blame for something I did not do . I took her advice and started to distance my self from everybody to get a clear pov. I started to only hang with people that lift me up and are there to support me not being me down . to this day I keep what she said in mind because people these days just can’t be trust and are weird acting .

today in class I learnt a lot more about Mr. Rease . I liked the kahoot we did and I think moving on we should do more . I didn’t really understand the point of the elevator video for the bell ring like what was the moral of the film . I think I did well on the pre test if I don’t count not completing the written response part . over all it’s a lot that I don’t know but am ready to learn .

I feel that this video has some form of representation of binary opposites , it also carries out form of karma being by the fact that he didn’t want to be in the elevator with the big people instead got into the elevator with the thin healthy people not knowing they were carrying a flu . i like how comedic the film was but I don’t like how judgmental he was being . I think that the theme of this short film is to not judge a book by it’s cover and that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence .

My name starts is Vonranicka Noel but I go by Pookie. I plan on becoming a RN ( Registered Nurse ) after I graduate high school. I love to sing, do hair, listen to music, watch movies and read books. My 3 favorite artists are TLC, Boyz ll Men and SWV. I am Haitian American , I love being around kids because they make me happy and I want to learn how to cook because I can’t cook to save my life. My favorite foods are Jamaican paddies, wings and salmon with white rice. I want to visit Haiti because I’ve only ever been there once when I was younger.
