 today we watched the movie " Fences " . i realized that reading the play is not the same as watching it . we really didn't get the emotions of the scenes down pact . when i was watching the movie some parts were totally different from the way we was reading it like how rose found out troy was cheating and had a baby . people was reading all even toned so we really didnt understand how she was feeling for real . i actually was excited to read a play , that was always my dream to go into acting .

 Today I went to the movies to go see Creed . It was good . I definitely learned how to spend my money wisely because the movies ain’t so cheep. Today I also learned how to be independent by getting a job . I now work at Walmart . Im one step into adult hood . 

 Today we took the bench mark test . Earlier this week we was rethought process of elimination . it helped during the multiple choice part of the test . And even thought this was a story and not a poem , annotating really helped me understand the story also . Me personally I don’t like taking test though .

We are doing a lot of annotating this week . today I was asked a question if i believe that all good things last forever . I honestly believe that they don’t . everything comes to and end . Maybe in after life but here on earth everything has and expiration date . That’s why we have to live life to fullest and be happy cause we never know when our time has come .

 Today was basically a repeat of yesterday. we annotated a poem , We annotated line by line and analyzed the whole poem. It is important to really read through the poem and get to understand what the poem means . We wrote down literary devices , comments , questions , vocabulary and summarized the poem . I find using that work sheet to analyze a poem very helpful. We also had a fire drill today , fire drills are very useful for when there is an actual fire .

 Today was a repeat of yesterday . The people who didn’t present yesterday presented their assignments . Ms cook again gave feedback on our presentations . I appreciate the feedback because without it I would still be leaning and fidgeting . After we finished presenting we finished our quizzes and started on vocabulary . I feel like having to write down these words and understand what they mean really expand my vocabulary . And then we had a parade . It’s was not as fun as being in class .

We had a chill day . Today I learned how to use context clues to answer the quiz questions .We used the text “ ambush “ to answer the quiz questions . We also presented out class work. Ms.Cook taught us how to properly present in front of the class . 

 Today I learned how to use critical thinking . the article we are reading now has some deeper insight to how it must feel to have to kill while serving your country . And the ptsd and trauma that comes with it . I can relate with the ptsd but not in the same way as an American soldier . I feel like everybody has to make sacrifices , some little and some small but he made a sacrifice to kill one to save another .
