 Today we annotated a poem . We annotated line by line and analyzed the whole poem. It is important to really read through the poem and get to understand what the poem means . We wrote down literary devices , comments , questions , vocabulary and summarized the poem . I find using that work sheet to analyze a poem very helpful.

 In class today I learned teamwork. I learned how to work with my classmates to get something done. We took turns reading the article and answered the questions . I also learned that the teacher lady is going to be a great teacher . She explained and helped us get through the questions.

Reflection

Today I learned how it must feel for someone to have to kill in the military . I honestly think that no one should determine whether another person should get to live or not . But if it’s necessary like a life or death situation then they should protect themself by all means . Taking a life is something that’s going to stick with you for the rest of your life so you shouldn’t kill unless it’s the last resort . Military do what they have to do to survive and serve their country .
